In the tradition of Celtic crooners like The Irish Tenors and Phil Coulter, Andy Cooney breathes new life into the music of the Old Sod. Be sure to bring a box of hankies to Cooney's St. Patrick's Day show at Westbury Music Fair: His rendition of 'Shannon River' has been known to make grown men cry.

Despite the raging storm, Andy Cooney led the crowds in singing “You are my sunshine” and other standards at the Traditional Stage. People were smiling, singing and having fun, albeit a little wet while doing so. The storm passed quickly and people assisted the staff with righting overturned tables, setting up chairs.

What a performer! What a show! Andy brings world-class presence and showmanship to every performance on large or small stage. A great voice - a tremendous ability to communicate and a real good friend. His love of music and his way of bringing a warmth to the songs of Ireland and beyond makes him one of our favorites. He's not to be missed.

Forever Irish will also feature Kate Purcell, one of Ireland’s foremost folk artists from Ennis, CO. Clare. Her fresh and engaging way with a song will immediately capture and thrill the audience. Over the years Kate also developed a love for contemporary styles, particularly a blend of Blues and American Country. She has played extensively around Ireland at venues ranging from Performing Arts Centers to major Concert Halls and has opened for, and played with, most of the major acts on the Irish touring circuit. America is ready and waiting for Kate Purcell.
Andy Cooney’s Forever Irish tour will also feature Darrah Carr Dancers and would not be complete without Andy’s world famous Irish band. Andy’s band will keep your feet tapping as we head into the St. Patrick’s Day Season.
